#BlogchatterA2Z P for Parent- A Womans role in parenting

Parenting or call it child-rearing, it’s a process of supporting and developing the child emotionally, mentally, physically and even spiritually. Parents are responsible for the overall and intellectual development of the child from infancy to being an adult. While a woman plays a crucial role in being a mother but she is also playing a key role of being a parent.ParentHistory says that the main role of a parent is played by mothers as she gets to spend the maximum time with kids. However, times have changed and even dads are playing an equal role in raising great individuals. Despite the role played by men, we can’t deny the sacrifices a woman makes to parent her kids.

Although the world has become quite advanced and women are part of many spheres in life. She is running a business, heading key position in the corporate sector, managing kids at home and doing so much more. However, her role as a mother and as a parent never changes. She is still responsible for ensuring the right nutrition, proper studies, getting the homework done, ensuring kids take part in extracurricular, recites that much-needed poem for the competition, preparing the perfect dress for the school fancy dress and also taking the kids for recreational classes outside of school. She is the one who is a guiding light in the life of a child, looking at whom kids learn.

She is the one who becomes a main idle for a child. The way she behaves reacts, things she teaches and love and care she gives become a stepping stone in the life of a child. A mothers (as a parent) care shapes the future of the child. Her role as a parent is more crucial today as she is the one who gives an overall shape to the child’s personality. From being a good human being, having great manners and behaviour, communication skills, developing the right attitude, to being considerate towards others. Everything is mainly taught by mothers.

Today women are single-handedly managing kids. There are quite a lot of single mums who are slaying the parenting gimmick so well. They are raising really smart and bright individuals with all sorts of mannerism and perfect attitude to deal with life. Women are indeed stronger than yesterday and are playing a crucial role in parenting the kids.
Parent
The debate on who is a better parent, father or mother is on for time immemorial. However, it’s important to note that both have a different set of responsibilities to play. Fathers are the providers in most cases and mothers are the nurturers. Thus, society has formed certain norms that people follow for a long time now. Though there are also families wherein fathers are a better parent than mothers as well. The debate shall always continue and people will forever have different opinions. The point to focus here is the fact that women amazingly manage this shade of being a parent as well.

Do give pats on your back ladies for raising great kids. Kudos to you all.
