#BlogchatterA2Z Q for Quick-Witted

Sense of humour and quick-wittedness are the two things that are quite powerful. These are the qualities that can set you apart from many others. I am sure we all must have come across women who are sharp, bold and who can hold their own conversation with a sharp mind and sense of confidence. Well, being quick-witted and displaying a brilliant sense of humour is one of the shades of women.

Quick-Witted

You may not find many such women though who are so strong and bold to voice their thoughts openly without wasting a second. But one of the facts that many men would agree is that they find this particular shade of women attractive and appealing too. Having someone who is quick, sharp and holds intelligent conversation is a pleasure to talk too. So, what are the qualities of these sharp- and quick-witted women?

  • Quick- They are quick and clever with their responses. Without spending much time during conversations, they speak in the wittiest and intelligent manner.
  • Open Minded– Usually when we speak, we often self-monitor and speak carefully. There are times when speaking abruptly without giving any thought is not appropriate. However, the women are open-minded and witty usually speak their mind and say whatever comes to their mind without rolling their tongue.

Quick-witted

  • Not bothered about the outcome- When you are bothered about your outcome you are worried and hence not talk openly. However, with wit comes spontaneity and an attitude wherein one is not bothered about the outcome of what they say.
  • Engage in swordplay- Wit is always best when it’s like a tennis ball hit from one side of the court to the other. Having the ability to find in’s in the conversation at the right time helps in holding the attention of others and make them comfortable as well in talking to you.
  • Intelligent people- In order to hold an intelligent conversation, it’s always great to know a few things here and there. Use of metaphor and antics helps in having some great and intelligent conversations. This helps in making a connection in unexpected situations as well.
  • Ending conversations on a high note- Such witty women know when to end the conversation when to put a stop or a pause to the laughter and jokes too.
