You have just introduced a new member of your family into this world. While this part was wonderful, the days that are coming forward are going to be equally exhausting. Newborn baby care seems to be overwhelming. From sleeping schedule to eating schedule won’t be surprised if you get advice from every person you meet. During the first 10 days of home with your baby, some things will come very naturally, others may not.

Every new parent wants to do as much as possible right when it comes to their precious newborn. From burping your baby to dressing him to cutting those tiny nails, it can all seem pretty challenging sometimes. But fear not, we are here to your rescue. We have compiled a list of some basic tips covering most of the important aspects to help you win this war and enjoy the moment!

Newborn Baby care

So here is our ABC’S of Newborn Baby Care- Tips and Tricks

Teamwork: The first and most important part of raising a baby, that you need to understand is that you and your partner are together in this. Help each other in the most trivial task concerning the baby. This will even out the load and also help you attain a stress-free environment.

It is normal for your child to have an irregular sleeping pattern: It is perfectly normal to wake up after every two hours. Yes, it is! Stop fretting about it. Other than eating the only work your infant must be doing is sleeping. So try to relax if your infant sleeps more or sleeps less compared to other kids.

Sneak in a nap with your kids: Since we are talking about sleep, it is obvious that you must be terribly tired and sleep-deprived. One of the best methods to catch up those missing hours to nap while your child is sleeping. If you know that your kid has a schedule do not hesitate to sleep in those golden hours.Newborn baby care

Crying: Are you always stressed about the fact that the constant crying of your kid will harm him or result in any problems? Then you need to calm down. Crying is their only method of communication. If your kid is hungry, sleepy, or needs a diaper changed, then all it can do and all it will do is cry. It is their only method of capturing your attention.

Rashes: The skin of newborn babies is very delicate and soft. So if your kid has a diaper rash stop fussing about it, you are not a careless or bad parent. It is natural to happen since they are delicate and soft. Try to recognize what kind of material and powder is more effective for your kid, and use that.Newborn baby care

Hiccups: It seems unnatural to us when newborn babies hiccup so much. Though doctors are not able to point out a specific reason for it the general reason for it is the miscommunication between the brain, diaphragm, and the abdominal muscle. Hence there is no need to worry about it all the time. It is natural and harmless.

The color of poop: Never thought that you will be amongst those people who discuss the color of poop and the bowel movements of your kid but here you are! Welcome to parenthood. It is fine for your kid to have poop of different shades in a row. Also, the fact that it is not a bad sign if your kid poops four to five times a day. Every infant is different and there is no specific number as to how many times should it happen in a day.

Bathing: Newborns are very delicate and if you are new at it then it will look difficult. Initially, you will have to use a warm damp washcloth. If you intend on giving your newborn a tub bath then make sure that the water is warm, not cold or hot as their skin is very delicate. It is normal for your infant to cry but if it is an enjoyable experience for them, then there is no harm in letting them linger in water in your presence. Make sure that you do not bathe them often as it can dry out their skin.

Newborn baby care may seem quite trickly in the initial days after birth as they are very delicate. However, with little practice, patience, and love in your heart you will be the pro in managing the baby. Besides all the mentioned advice, try to relax and enjoy these moments with your newborn as much as you can and trust your instincts. Even your parents had no help yet here you are, a parent to a beautiful newborn.

New born care is very difficult and the internet advices make the parents more confuse, so it is always better to stick to the home remedies and refer to what doctor suggests than experimenting stuff on new born.

Thankfully mine was a very chillax baby. He didn’t give me any tension regarding bathing etc. and I used to catch sleep with him only. Whenever he used to sleep I too went to sleep. But rashes was a bit problem for some time.

Reading this took me back to my time when my kids were born. All babies are different and one size doesn’t fit all. My Daughter made it seem like a cake walk but my son showed me stars in the day. But yes basic care and pattern we follow and things fall in place.
