Top 10 Gardening tools for easy & hassle free gardening

Now that you have decided to get plants and try your green thumb so why not be completely prepared with all the essential things. You won’t need a huge collection of essential gardening tools, but having the right ones is enough to take care of your outdoor and indoor plants easily.Gardening tools So here in this post, I am sharing some amazing gardening tools that are hard to do without.

  • Hand Trowel- When it comes to planting, a hand trowel is a great tool. It’s a great one for digging up on touch weeds. Ensure that you keep the tools in a dry and good place so they do not rust. Gardening Tools
  • Hand fork- This is yet another important gardening tool as it allows you to break up hard, lumpy soil and also help mix in crumbly compost to achieve a consistency that your plants can grow roots in.Gardening Tools
  • Shovel- In case you are looking to do some touch digging then a small hand trowel won’t suffice and you would need something tough and strong. This long-handled and pointed digging shovel can make your job easier. Ensure that you buy a nice and sturdy shovel as it requires a lot of pressure to do tough digging and the tool must bear the pressure well.
  • Digging Shovel- A sharp, rounded-blade digging shovel is indispensable if you’re planting anything larger than your fist.Gardening tools
  • Rake- Rake is a good gardening tool for the ones who have huge garden space and lawns as well. It can be used to clear the leaves or twigs from your lawn. They are also helpful in leveling the lawn and breaking up the soil as well. If in case you do not have a lawn you can skip buying this tool.
  • Secateurs or pruners- This is one tool you are going to use the most in your garden area. You are likely to come across plants that need cutting back often. A good and sharp quality pair will have good cutting power and can shop thick stems and branches too.   • Garden Hose with Adjustable Nozzle- Water is the main foundation of your plants and their life so having a good tool to water evenly and properly is a great thing. Go for an adjustable hose as it lets you control the water pressure and spray radius too.
  • Watering Can- Watering can is a great option to make your kids also enjoy gardening. Buy a can as per the need and as much as your hand can carry. If you just want your kids to learn the art of watering you can buy a small one or a big one if you are going to use it.
  • Garden scissors- This handy tool is great for removing dead flowers, cutting soft-stemmed plants like herbs, pruning small or delicate plants, snipping twine, and thinning perennials.

So, these are some of the gardening tools with which you can begin the basic gardening work. Here I am sharing a quick tip for choosing gardening tools. Try and buy the ones that have wooden or metal handles. And yet another important thing to keep in mind is storing the tools. Always keep them in a dry and clean way so that they remain rust-free.
