Critically Acclaimed Filmmaker Prakash Jha brings another Inspiring story Pareeksha on Zee5 OTT Platform

I am a huge movie buff and love to watch movies that reflect on our society and the socio-political culture we live in. Prakash Jha is one such name in the Bollywood industry who is known to have created such hard-hitting movies in Indian cinema. From Aarakshan, Satyagraha, Jai Gangaajal and now Prakash Jha is back with yet another inspiring story with Pareeksha. Initially intended for theatrical release, the film is scheduled to premiere through ZEE5 on 6 August 2020.

This is a true story based on the life of SP Abhaynandan. I recently came across the trailer of the movie Pareeksha and simply loved it. The trailer showcases how this movie is a tough take on the Indian education system in India and how education plays a key role in creating a fairer and more equal society.

The film stars Adil Hussain, Priyanka Bose, Sanjay Suri in the main lead roles. The film takes on the education system in India and revolves around the story of an ordinary rickshaw driver in Bihar who aspires and dreams of providing maximum possible quality education to his son by making arrangements for him to study at a private English medium school.

Pareeksha very well depicts the struggles faced by the poorer section of society to get quality education and fulfill their dreams. Through this movie, Prakash Jha has brought in light one such true and success story of an economically challenged student who dared to dream and how dreams did come true.
The story is all the more touching and worth watching because it shows the dedication of a father to ensure his son gets good educations against all odd circumstances. And it also lets other students dream high and not lose hope in the pursuit of fulfilling their dreams. Despite poor circumstances and lack of opportunities, one can fly high with determination and dedication. All the hard work of a father and his son prove fruitful at the end and they fly high in the sky #SapneSachKarenge.

It’s a beautifully made movie on this sensitive subject of education in our country and I am excited that it getting launched on Zee5 so that we all can watch this movie from the comforts of our home. It’s one of the subjects that are quite close to my heart since education has always been a crucial part of our growing up and today it’s important for the future generations of our country.

Prakash Jha has always been known for the critically-acclaimed films that he makes. His movies are known for the issues which are very important for the social growth of the nation.
