VLCC Nourishing Day Cream with SPF 25 Review

It has been a while since I was looking to buy a nourishing day cream which has good anti-aging properties. As they say, precaution is better than cure. So I wanted to pamper my skin today to age gracefully later. Well, with my friend’s reference I bought this cream and have been using it for the last few weeks and I’m now ready to share my review with you all. Read to know more about this cream.

My Experience with VLCC Nourishing Day Cream with SPF 25:

Packaging: It comes in a nice tall tub like a package. The tub has got all the details of the product mentioned clearly for users. When you remove the product details seal it will look like a normal white tub. The pink and white outer cardboard box also has all the detailed of the cream.

Key Features: The cream is a unique formulation which firms and tightens the skin along with sunscreen benefit. It is made up of Almond and Crowberry extracts, vitamin rich oils of Wheat germ and Olive revitalize the skin by delivering in-depth cellular nourishment. Exotic plant extract helps prevent the formation of free radicals, lipid peroxidation, and development of advanced glycation end-products. Crowberry improves skin firmness, elasticity and protects the skin’s extracellular matrix.

Color & Consistency: The cream is nice pearl white in color and is quite thick. The texture of the cream is quite soft and easy to apply on skin. It glides very well and spreads out evenly when applied on the face. The smoothness of the cream gets absorbed into the skin within seconds and does not leave any greasy feeling on the surface. If you have a very dry skin you might want to take larger quantity on hand to apply on face. The cream is targeted towards mature skin to help prevent aging. Usually, mature skin tends to be drier and requires cream which hydrates the skin well. However, I found the cream to be less hydrating so I had to apply more to keep my face hydrated. While it is good for normal skin, I feel people with drier skin would benefit if the cream is better on hydration.

Fragrance: The fragrance is mild and not bothersome. The mattifying fairness is good for my normal-combination skin, and the SPF 25 offers decent sun protection. Vey less quantity is needed, as a little can spread evenly on skin.
Price: The cream costs INR 405 for the 50Gm pack.

Overall Take: The cream is good for normal skin which moisturizes it very well if applied evenly. It gets absorbed into the skin nicely giving the skin mattifying effect. I have little dry skin so I had to re-apply the cream frequently to keep it hydrated. However, after using the skin for 2 weeks now I find my skin to be radiant and fresh.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase VLCC Nourishing Day Cream with SPF 25?

Personally, I would like to try more day creams in the anti-ageing segment before settling on one. I am not very satisfied with this cream as it’s less hydrating. But someone with normal skin will benefit immensely if used regularly.

Where can you buy: You can easily buy the cream on Amazon.in

Stay tuned for the next review on VLCC Nourishing Night Cream.
