Top 7 reasons to enroll your child in Leapwaters coding camp

As parents, we all strive to give the best of opportunities to our children. Aiding their educational development in formative years is something that all of us desire to do. We are always looking for effective ways to ensure they are learning good. There is a wide range of extracurricular activities available and we often choose between, dancing, singing, arts & crafts and so on. But I am sure most of us do not think about enrolling kids in coding classes. Well, recently when I was looking for some good computer classes for my daughter, I came across the Leapwaters coding camp and how they are revolutionizing coding education for children.

Leapwaters coding camp

I was quite happy to understand the importance of coding and how it helps with career opportunities later on in life. It also provides a host of skills and benefits that we have covered in this article. Read on to know the top 7 reasons to enroll your child in Leapwaters coding camp.

Top 7 reasons to enroll your child in Leapwaters coding camp

  1. Boost’s problem-solving skills– Kids are quick learners and things learnt at an early age stays with them forever. Similarly, coding is one such straightforward route to teach and boosts problem-solving skills in children. By the time kids are 7 or 8 they develop their thinking skills and find their ways around problems they face. And coding not just enhances thinking skills but also helps develop a problem-solving attitude in kids.
  2. Encourages persistence- Not everybody can gain success on the very first attempt and kids must learn to accept failures in life. Failures give birth to new success and help one become persistent in life. Similarly in the world of computers errors, programs failing, codes not working is normal. And these errors and problems faced while working on computers helps children learn to find a solution, to try again and again until they succeed. Even a small success while working on a program can provide the needed encouragement to kids. And over time this one habit of being persistent can bolster a child’s grit. And it serves as one of the most important parts of their lives and future success.
  3. Helps you get creative- Creativity is one of the most prized possession in today’s time and age. A creative person can strive very well in all walks of life. Creativity helps achieve life goals and allows to enjoy the journey to success. When it comes to coding it’s all about creating or building something in the programming environment. And to make these codes requires one to be creative in their thought process. And while doing so kids are often promoted to experiment and think creatively. And over the period, they constantly look for creative ways to make the codes work or to make them better. Thus, they learn to be creative in their thought process.Leapwaters coding camp
  4. Teaches digital literacy- Digital literacy is all about the ability to understand technology thoughtfully. Kids have great grasping power and they can learn much faster than us adults. Thus, helping them explore technology in the form of coding is a great asset for the future. All the online communications are today coded from using social media to playing games on the internet it’s all coding. The world is revolutionizing and it’s safe to say that soon coding will be one of the important skills, kids will need to have. And it’s the ideal time that parents can encourage kids to get ahead of the curve by learning coding at Leapwaters coding camp
  5. Opens career opportunities- The world has become digital now and with the current situation, everything has gone online. Kids learning to code at an early age helps them get interested and inclined towards this world of programming and computers. Even if they do not intend to be full time in coding in future but learning a coding language or two is a great skill set to develop. I am sure that it will provide an edge to kids over their peers in future to be tech and computer savvy.
  6. Help make new friends- Since we are housebound due to a pandemic for more than a year kids have not got the opportunity to mingle with kids their age and make new friendships. Thus, enrolling them in a good coding class like Leapwaters coding camp will help them make friends with like-minded people. Having other kids learning the art of coding will also enhance their perspective on the world.
  7. Language learning- We always focus on kids learning English well aside from the mother tongue. Once they ace at English, we want them to go ahead and learn a foreign language as we feel it will help them in their career. Similarly, coding is also one such computer language that is quite rich and structured just like human language. Coding language also helps in the holistic development of the brain.Leapwaters coding camp

Final Thoughts- Why kids should enrol in Leapwaters coding camp?

Coding is one of the most constrictive hobbies that your child can develop from an early age. It brings in much-needed focus, dedication and discipline in children along with developing other skills. Last but not least it also helps set your child up for potential lucrative career opportunities in future. Leapwaters coding camp has great offers and discounts on enrollment and is pocket friendly for parents like us. It is very affordable. You will get 10% on enrolling in a coding camp.

I wonder why people are after coding only for kids. Learning coding is good but is that all to learn or all kids are going to become computer specialists? Can anyone answer this query
